报告题目:AdS Black Hole Entropy and Cardy(-Like) Formulae

摘要:Since the seminal work by Strominger and Vafa, the black hole entropy can be computed by applying the Cardy formula to some 2d CFT. In the last few years, the AdS/CFT correspondence was found to be able to produce the AdS black hole entropy. Initially, the Cardy formula does not play a role in this new picture. However, we will demonstrate in this talk that the AdS black hole entropy can also be obtained from the two-dimensional Cardy formula and its higher-dimensional counterpart. In particular, despite the absence of conformal anomaly in odd dimensions, we generalize the even-dimensional Cardy-like formulae found by Komargodski et al. to odd dimensions and compute the BPS AdS_4 black hole entropy from a 3d Cardy-like formula. This talk is based on 2005.10251, 2106.09730, and an upcoming paper.
简介:年骏,中国科学院大学国际理论物理中心(亚太地区)副教授。2009年本硕连读毕业于德国海德堡大学,2015年在美国纽约州立大学石溪分校获得博士学位。2015-2020年分别在法国高等科学研究院、美国密歇根大学任博士后研究员,期间先后在欧洲核子中心理论组、中国科学技术大学交叉学科理论研究中心、德国汉诺威大学黎曼几何与物理学中心、美国纽约州立大学石溪分校西蒙斯几何与物理学中心任访问学者。2021年入职中国科学院大学国际理论物理中心(亚太地区)。主要研究量子场论、引力理论、弦论。
