摘要:Interfacial instabilities are prevalent in nature and engineering. In this talk, I will discuss the dynamics of a interface in a Hele-Shaw cell under an electric field. The coupling of the hydraulic and electric fields make the dynamics of the interface very complicated. We develop an efficient algorithm to investigate the nonlinear dynamics of the interface. Our nonlinear results reveal that the electric field plays an important role in controlling the interfacial instability. Finally, we construct an efficient controlling scheme for the interface.
简介:赵蒙,华中科技大学数学中心,本科毕业于华东理工大学,博士毕业于美国伊利诺伊理工大学,后在美国加州大学尔湾分校从事博士后研究。研究兴趣为流体力学,材料学,生物数学中的移动界面问题,包括界面动力学的建模,分析和数值模拟。在JFM,SISC,CICP,PRE等期刊发表学术论文10余篇。
