摘要:A three-stage life cycle model of Nemopilema nomurai with a distributed delay is proposed to explore the roles of podocyst playing in blooms, and the potential strategies for controlling outbreaks of the giant jellyfish. The new proposed CPM model is more realistic by considering dormant podocyst, the exclusive form of asexual reproduction of N. nomurai. The effect of the podocyst production rate and the strobilation rate on the population size is investigated, and the interannual variation of three phases in the Dalian sea is demonstrated. This study shows that (1) the long-term dormancy would result in the cardinal number of podocysts multiplying but no discernible effects on a long time dynamics; (2) sensitivity analysis confirms that the recurrence of medusae of N. nomurai is most sensitive to the bottom-up supplement and the key process of the life cycle is strobilation; (3) the effective control strategies are to increase the harvest of ephyrae and to reduce the expansion of substrates.
简介:范猛,东北师范大学英国威廉希尔公司二级教授、博士生导师。主要从事生物数学与非线性动力学系统研究,出版专著和教材各1部,共同主编论文集和进展特刊7部,发表论文百余篇,主持NSFC和省部级项目十余项,7年入选Elsevier中国高被引学者。获国务院政府特殊津贴、教育部新世纪优秀人才、吉林省首批长白山学者特聘教授、吉林省高级专家等荣誉;获教育部自然科学奖二等奖、吉林省第七届青年科技奖、第六届秦元勋数学奖等科技奖励;获宝钢教育奖优秀教师奖、明德教师奖、吉林省高等公司产品成果奖等教学奖励。曾在美国Arizona State University和Purdue University、加拿大York University和University of Alberta、日本Shimane University和Osaka Prefecture University等进行学术访问。现任4种期刊编委、中国数学会常务理事、中国数学会生物数学专业委员会副主任等。
