摘要: In this talk, I will discuss some connection between the characters of vertex operator algebras and the solution spaces of certain modular linear differential equations. Under certain assumptions on the solution space of the modular linear differential equations, one can classify some rational vertex operator algebras. This talk is based on a joint work with Nagatomo, Sakai and Shimakura.

简介：焦翔宇，华东师范大学数学科学学院教授，主要从事无穷维李代数及其表示、顶点算子代数、二维共形场论等方面的研究，在Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、Comm. Math. Phys.、J. Algebra等国际著名期刊发表论文多篇，主持国家自然科学面上项目、青年项目。
